Helping Coca-Cola to upscale production in Romania
TITAN has been working with Coca-Cola in Romania since 2015 – their first cold storage container was a single 40ft ArcticStore. Recently, however, they needed more. A lot more!
The challenge
We love working with Coca-Cola. One of the world’s best-known drinks brands (if not the best known) have been a client in Romania for almost a decade and had already built up their collection of ArcticStore 40-footers to a total of four units when they asked us back for more.
They needed more cold space for their production – specifically, plenty of room to store raw materials for their delicious drinks at a temperature of -18°C at their main factory in Ploiesti, which is the country’s sunny south.
The solution
While Coca-Cola were still considering their options, we paid them a visit to talk about our Arctic SuperStores, which we felt may be exactly what they needed. Arctic SuperStores are combinations of models from our incredible ArcticStore range that can be used as modular units and transformed into large, open warehouses of any shape or size.
This solution suited them perfectly. They ordered two separate Arctic SuperStores, each made up of four of our 40ft Arctic Tropical energy-efficient cold storage containers. They also added 2 x ArcticStore 20-footers to the order.
The delivery
Once we showed the client our calculations and explained the many advantages of renting from us over buying, they decided to abandon plans to purchase their SuperStore and hire instead, signing through at least 2026. We delivered the SuperStores in two batches, two months apart, and helped Coca-Cola to get them up and running.
The results
One happy customer! Coca-Cola Romania are delighted with their two spacious SuperStores, which can not only chill to -40°C (-40°F) but which keep energy costs down, too, thanks to latest-generation tech and superior insulation levels. Like all clients who experience our Arctic SuperStores for the first time, they were blown away by the sheer size and versatility of our modular solutions, which are created on demand for each client.
